. the original call came in as a person in the water on the pier side of the 2300 block of boston street. the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. it is unclear how the victim ended up in the water. a baltimore city mother is the only survivor of a violent home invasion that led to the death of her two sons. police say that a group of men broke into the home at west lafayette avenue on tuesday night and shot three family members multiple times. the brothers died at shock trauma. their 48-year-old mother was shot in the face and hand and is in serious condition. the president of the neighborhood association says that the family was new to the neighborhood. >> i don't think there's anything we could have done to prevent it, but we want to be aware of what is going on in our community and have relations with our neighbors. >> police do not believe this is a random incident. they are looking for 3 or four suspects. an update to a story we told you about yesterday on 11 news at 7:00. police in anne arundel county are looking for the suspect behind the shooting inside a laurel wal-mart. de

in her boston area hospital is now facing a long list of charges after a dramatic crash, all of it caught on a traffic cam. police say dr. kristen howard was speeding away from an accident in a supermarket parking lot in wellesley, massachusetts. that's when she bolted out of the parking lot, went airborne and smashed into traffic, injuring the driver of one car. police say she had been drinking and also taking controlled substances, drugs she had prescribed to herself. >>> a baltimore bus driver has been suspended after getting into a fight with a young passenger. this cell phone video shows the shocking altercation with a student, a student, earlier this week. passengers scrambled out of the way as the female driver got the best of the girl, holding her down in the back of the city bus. the person who posted the video said the driver hit the girl after saying she was playing her music too loudly. the driver said it was all about being disrespectful. >> wow. >>> that puppeteer who has voiced elmo for decades says he is relieved after his accuser recanted his story. an unidentified man in
40. boston 45 degrees. you get out towards chicago, they were at 45 as well. not a lot of warm air. we have a few shots that are warmer than normal but not nearly at many as we saw last week. tampa at 67 degrees. phoenix at 882. most of the country starting to trpped down into a cooler and also very quiet weather pattern for the time being. here is where temperatures stand at this hour. still 28 degrees at manassas. we have not dropped too much there. frederick, you have, though, down to 28 degrees. gait thusburg at 30, winchester at 30. i don't think it's going to get too much colder than this because we did have a deck of clouds coming in. that should protect us from getting too much older. you can see from the northwest, 32, down in south raleigh, 41. now, these are not the biggest clouds that we have seen and i don't believe they'll produce any kind of precipitation. they might be up there to protect some of these areas from getting colder. watching the beginning of the storm system that will move over to the coast. i know you hear the word coastal and you think, what's up with
